- 1 bunch organic kale
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- pinch of sea or season salt optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a non-insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
With a knife carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner or paper towel. Drizzle kale with coconut oil and sprinkle with salt. Place them single layer on the sheet .do not double stack
Bake until the edges are slightly brown but are not burnt, 8-10 minutes
Amazing snack, my family loves kale and we pretty much make all type of stuffs with it including juice , started making kale chips for our son when he was a year old, oh what a mess he used to make, at age 7 it is still one of his favorite snack but without the mess:) he knows now to crush the crispy leaves in his mouth and not his hands..
